About Alycen Lucy
I moved to Austin, TX in 1997. I opened my scratch insurance agency in 2003, after an 11-year career with H-E-B Grocery Company. At the time that Farmers® recruited me, I knew nothing about insurance, but the promise of building something that was mine and could be handed down to my daughter in the future was my main motivation to open my agency. In 2013 at the Farmers Championship Award Conference in Seattle, I met my spouse, Dusty, who at the time was an agent with Farmers. We became friends and then started to date long-distance. We got married in October of 2014. He sold his agency and joined mine. We are located just south of downtown Austin, Texas, and the University of Texas Campus. Our office is on Menchaca Road in the Grand Oaks Office Condominiums located at the intersection of Menchaca Road and Davis Lane. We are in building 8, which faces the rear of the Corner Store. Our agency strives to be consultative with our clients. We educate our clients about insurance and coverage, to help them make informed decisions on their coverage. Whether you need, auto, home, motorcycle, renters, business, or life insurance, we work with our clients to help them customize their policies to offer them the best value for their insurance dollars. We are active in our community. Austin specifically prides itself on the slogan âKeep Austin Weirdâ and to me, this encompasses the spirit of diversity in our area. Austin is a center for many cultures. We are active at Manchaca Baptist Church where we attend. We are also active supporters of Autism Speaks and the University of Texas Baptist Student Union. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with Dusty and my two daughters, Lauren and Camryn. Together we enjoy traveling, specifically cruising. I enjoy sports, football, baseball, and basketball.
