Bothun Insurance Agency is a family-owned business with initial operations going back to 1980 in Brookings, SD. Martie Bothun is a second generation Farmers Insurance Group® agent. In 2001 Bothun Insurance acquired an agency in Pierre, SD with an additional acquisition in 2012 of Martie's family agency in Brookings, SD. We provide insurance to our existing clients and work with prospective clients throughout the eight states we are licensed in. Our focus is to enhance our agency's reputation for accessibility, professionalism, commitment and performance. Our employees possess over 100 years of combined experience. Bothun Insurance offers a wide variety of lines of insurance. Our agency has access to many different insurance resources, allowing us to effectively help our clients develop appropriate solutions for various risks at competitive rates.
