Farmers Insurance Agency Producer
As a professional agency producer, your primary job duties will be to promote and sell insurance products, including homeowners, auto, and life insurance policies. Option to own your own agency within a year upon completion of 1 year program.
Skills
Your ability to succeed as an agency producer will depend on several things, primarily your ability to market to new customers. You should have superior people skills and a strong interest in sales. The ability to work independently is important for agency producers.
Compensation
Base plus commission and bonuses. $36,000-$40,000 average first year. Successful completion of protégé program will result in the opportunity to be awarded an agency.
Training & Licenses
Must have or be willing to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses within first 60 days of employment. Coursework, Books & on-line training (pre-licensing) will be provided at no cost.
Complete all assigned University of Farmers online courses.
