About Darin Manes
As your Agent, I am involved with all aspects of the agency. I acquired the agency from the former owner, Gregg Martin, in August of 2017. I formed a relationship with Gregg over 30 years ago in Hobbs, NM when Coach Martin was my high school quarterback coach. I retired as the Superintendent of the Lovington Municipal Schools in 2015 after 25 years in education. I moved my family to Las Cruces in June of 2015 to begin a career in insurance under the guidance of Gregg and Sue Martin. Since acquiring the Agency, I have been named Agent of the Year for District 9, which includes Farmers Agents in Southern New Mexico for the years of 2017 & 2018. I have also been named as a Toppers Qualifier 4 out of 5 years and Championship Qualifier once. I hold a B.S. in Secondary Education and an M.S. in Administration. I am fully licensed in Accident and Health or Sickness, Casualty, Life, and Property. My philosophy in life and business is to build positive relationships through effective communication and problem-solving. I am passionate about helping people. I strive to be an active member of this community. I currently serve on the board of the Boys and Girls Club of Las Cruces. In my free time, I enjoys playing golf, watching NFL, and spending time with my family.
