I have broad experience in the independent distribution channel and have specialized in utilizing life insurance for tax-advantaged business and retirement planning. I have served as Chief Distribution Officer, have provided consulting services to advisors and business owners on a national level, and have been a regular speaker in front of industry sales and distribution organizations. I have served in product development and management roles in the life insurance industry. I have also built successful sales support teams in both the insurer and broker-dealer space, after having grown up in this industry as a sales desk technician. I maintain my securities registrations, in addition to property, casualty, life, health, crop and travel insurance licenses, and hold CLU, ChFC, CLF and RICP professional designations. I have served on the board and as the chapter president for the Society of Financial Services Professionals. I am active in the community; having coached youth basketball and lead various financial education seminars. I continue to be active in the support and promotion of Drake University, serving on the Parent Advisory Board, Athletics Advisory Board, and rarely miss a basketball game. I love to play golf and spend time with family and friends.
