Every year Farmers awards five $100,000 educational grants to teachers from across the country through the Farmers Dream Big Teacher Challenge. After reviewing hundreds of proposals Farmers selects fifteen finalist to be voted on for the grants. I'm extremely happy to announce that one of our own teachers in Connecticut, Jessica Embacher from Ädelbrook Behavioral and Developmental Services, has been selected as one of the finalist and is in the running for one of the five $100,000 educational grants.

Jessica’s Dream Big project creates Innovation Spaces fueled by a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) curriculum. This project supports students’ development of basic job skills through vocational and career readiness programs throughout five special education schools. They serve students ages 3-21 who have Autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
