About Jor-Jean Maples
Born and raised in California, I'm proud to serve Petaluma and the surrounding areas as your local Farmers Insurance® agent. Our agency offers products such as auto, home, renters, life, commercial, and umbrella insurance to ensure that all of your assets are properly covered. In addition we have a variety of policies to cover your boat, ATV, motorcycle, and motorhome. I also have staff members solely focused on handling claims and evaluating your home insurance to ensure any of the assets you have worked hard for are properly covered.
Prior to owning my Farmers Agency, I enjoyed a 14-year long career as a 911 Dispatcher for the Marin County Sheriff’s Office. Although dispatching is unlike insurance, I’m no stranger to the insurance industry. I enjoyed working as an office manager for 10 years alongside and learning from a large Insurance Agent who specialized in commercial insurance. I’m now back working in an industry that I believe in- one that allows me to offer protection to our community in a different way.
Overall, the goals at my agency are protecting, educating, and helping clients, friends, and neighbors through ensuring you are properly, accurately, and affordably covered. I have employees whose only jobs are to handle your claims and assess your home's potential liability to ensure your peace of mind when times can get tough. Our community runs the risk of fires, and through my years living here, I have grown to understand the unique complexities that come with ensuring your home in this community.
