Quarterly I go with a group of high school students from Northwest Christian School to an after-school program (After-the-Bell) to engage with the elementary students (primarily from Sunburst Elementary School) and put on various events for the program. Two of the times we work together, the NCS students put on a carnival for the After-the-Bell students and their friends. Lots of fun!
I have lived in the Northwest Phoenix/Glendale area of Arizona since 1972. After graduating from ASU West with both a Bachelor's in Global Business in 2003 and then an MBA in 2008, I decided to make a career change (had worked 20 years in law firms and 10 years at a private Christian school at that point). So in 2011, I become a Farmers® insurance agent, and have loved it ever since. The best part of my day is meeting with clients to review their coverages to make sure they are adequately protected in the event of an unexpected loss. I hear often from clients that I am a good listener, and they appreciate that. I need to be a good listener so that I know how to meet their needs.
